Our relationship with the Town of Bridgewater began in 2006 as one of our first Municipal Government clients. Over this long history we have been engaged to provide a variety of web-related services including:

1. Multiple iterations of the Town’s main website

2. A custom zoning lookup

3. A system for managing development applications

4. Transit Tracker web app

5. Town Directory and people/business attraction website

The Objective

Municipal Governments have unique needs which differ from other types of organizations or businesses. Often stemming from their requirement to serve diverse communities of interest.

The objective is to provide a foundational framework that will support these various requirements whether it be accessibility, service-oriented designs, engagement and feedback mechanisms, or education and information resources, etc.

Our Approach

The Town of Bridgewater’s web presence utilizes the Joomla CMS platform with custom PHP and JavaScript coding to achieve the advanced features noted in the overview. Transit tracking and the town directory employ our ShowMe digital directory and mapping application.

Other municipalities have found equal success from the WordPress CMS as either are solid and dependable development platforms.
