Exploits Chamber of Commerce, Newfoundland
A Shop Local website and Digital Directory.
Encompassing a large section of Central Newfoundland, the Exploits Chamber of Commerce serves a diverse range of members in several communities. As an award-winning organization, it is one of the largest Chambers in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Exploits Chamber recognized the need to provide additional support to the commercial and retail/service sectors owing to the challenges presented by the Covid pandemic. They undertook a Shop Local initiative and sought a service provider to assist them in developing a website to support their efforts. A key desire was to not only meet the immediate term needs but to create a foundation that would provide ongoing value to the communities they serve.
Digital Fusion’s ShowMe platform was selected for the project and the www.ExploreExploits.ca website was created to meet the Chamber’s objectives. This Regional website with its interactive digital directory and map makes it easy for residents and visitors to discover what is available in the Exploits area. Further content build-out is envisioned as new partners join the initiative.
